Job Opportunity

Parish Priest

The Bishop of the Diocese of Montreal invites applications for the part-time position of Incumbent of the Church of St. George’s, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue.

St. George’s is a welcoming Anglican parish located on the western tip of Montreal seeking a compassionate and community-minded Parish Priest to lead the congregation in worship, pastoral care, and outreach.

Our parish is rooted in the Book of Alternative Services and values meaningful liturgy, engaging sermons, strong music ministry, and opportunities for spiritual growth through Bible studies and fellowship. Music is an important part of parish life, and the successful candidate will help shape and guide worship music selections.

A cornerstone of our ministry is our active food outreach program, including regular community meals and support for those in need. The priest will work alongside a dedicated and supportive team that includes a parish administrator, wardens, and two lay readers.

We are seeking someone who is approachable, collaborative, and enthusiastic about building relationships both within the parish and throughout the wider community.

Clergy of the Anglican Church of Canada and those in full communion are invited to apply. The position offers a stipend and housing allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package including pension, medical and dental coverage.

As you explore the Parish Profile and learn more about the ministry of St. George’s, Bishop Mbuyi Bipungu prays that you may discern the leading of the Holy Spirit in considering this opportunity to join the parish in its ongoing journey of faith and service.
