Comedy Night Fundraiser - Supporting Food Security in our Community

Get ready for an evening of laughter for a great cause! Espace Bellevue, our new garden coordinators, will be hosting a Comedy Night in the church hall, with all proceeds supporting three organizations working to address food insecurity in the West Island.

Funds raised will go to:

• St. George's Church – supports our ongoing food ministry

• Corbeille de Pain – Their Solidarity Markets improve access to nutritious food for people in vulnerable situations while supporting the local economy by sourcing from farmers at fair prices. Their “pay-what-you-can” model lets participants contribute based on their financial reality.

• Espace Bellevue – an organization that will offers a “pay-what-you-can” hot meal program at the Solidarity Markets. This program transforms unsold market produce into nutritious meals in the commercial kitchen at St. George’s Church, while providing training and employment opportunities for refugee women.
