Services
Welcome to church!
All are welcome at St. George’s! Our worship services blend tradition with our unique culture as a faith community, where joy, laughter, song, quiet prayer, and children being children are all part of who we are at St. George’s.
Everyone is welcome and we’d love to see you!
For those who would prefer to worship from home, our service is on Zoom every Sunday morning.
Sunday - 10:00 am
Service of Holy Eucharist or Morning Prayer led by a lay reader.
These service feature a rich Anglican liturgy with traditional hymns including the organ, piano, and choir. You can expect seasonal changes as we fully utilize all Eucharistic prayer forms from the Book of Alternative Services, as well as supplemental liturgy resources.
Wednesday - 7:30 pm (2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month)
Choral Evensong
Choral Evensong is a form of worship centered on musical settings of prayers and Biblical texts. It consists of sung psalms and prayers, offering a period of respite and contemplation after the busy day, to help transition into the restful night.
WHAT TO EXPECT
At this time:
You are encouraged to protect the most vulnerable among us.
The collection plate is passed during the offertory.
Communion is offered from the common cup but no one should feel pressured to receive in both kinds
Anyone concerned about receiving in both kinds is encouraged to receive bread only, understanding that receiving in one kind is full communion.
As always, intinction (dipping bread in wine) is strictly prohibited.
Please do not attend if you have been feeling unwell.
Likewise, anyone with symptoms of COVID or other seasonal illnesses, even if they are mild, should stay home.
We thank you for your ongoing understanding and support.
