COULD THIS BE YOUR MINISTRY?
Now more than ever, our parish is looking for a Safe Church Coordinator—someone to help us continue creating a safe and caring space for all. The role involves coordinating background checks, sharing Safe Church information, and supporting our parish in following best practices. If this speaks to you, we’d love to hear from you.
Sadly, a recent incident within our Diocese has reminded us that Safe Church is not simply a policy or administrative requirement. It is a ministry of care, accountability, and protection for the most vulnerable among us. By helping to foster a culture of safety, respect, and trust, a Safe Church Coordinator plays an important role in supporting the well-being of our entire parish community.
If you would like to learn more about this ministry, please contact the office.
PRAYER REQUESTS
Each month we refresh the prayer requests.
Please email the office should you wish to add or renew someone on the prayer list. We bring our prayers to God, whether for ourselves or for others, knowing that God responds to our request.
We ask that you seek permission from the person you wish us to pray for before submitting the name. Only first names will be read out during the service to help preserve privacy.
FUNDSCRIP
It costs you nothing extra: you receive the full value of the card, and the church receives a small rebate from the retailer.
If you’d like to support this easy ongoing fundraiser, visit www.fundscrip.com and use our invitation code J6HC44 to get started.
They make great gifts all year long and they’re also perfect for everyday groceries and gas.
ALONGSIDE HOPE – SOLAR PANELS FOR ST. LUKE’S HOSPITAL
St. Luke’s Hospital is in Nablus (the West Bank). Unreliable and costly power sources make health care a challenge during the best of times, or a crisis during the worst of times. That’s where solar power comes in. Solar energy helps keep the lights on, keeps medical equipment working, and helps doctors care for patients safely. Alongside Hope is partnering with the Diocese of Jerusalem to purchase and install solar panels for the roof of the hospital. This year’s project will bring prayerful attention to healthcare in the Holy Land, and enable St. Luke’s to continue to provide compassionate, essential medical care to all who need it.
