Youth
St. George’s Church is open for in-person and hybrid services and our Youth Group is back.
For our teenage youth (typically grades 7-11) we offer fun events, engaging services, and transformative small group discussions designed to help youth encounter Jesus in their lives. Our youth ministry helps a new generation of Christians to explore timeless questions about the meaning of life, faith and God.
We meet at the church on Sunday evenings, and are using the re:form Old Testament curriculum to learn about the very human people God chose to do his work, from Adam and Eve to Jonah. The program is full of humour and encourages honest, open conversation. We help our youth think and talk about relevant and meaningful topics while sharing their thoughts with friends and leaders.
This is a great place for interdenominational and interfaith dialogue, as these people are not only important in several religious contexts, but also in a historical context, in cultural contexts and in a literary context.
Come when you can, no commitment necessary. Snacks will be provided. Fun guaranteed. EVERYONE is welcome.
If you’re a parent and are looking for more information on the programs available at St. George’s for children and youth please contact the office at office@stg.church.
We look forward to speaking to you.
